Emily Gunter graduated from Skidmore College with a BA in Dance and Classics in 2019. She is currently a dancer and Arts in Education Coordinator for the Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company, resident company of The Egg in Albany, NY. She has performed works by Paul Taylor, Martha Graham, and Ronald K. Brown among others, and has presented original choreography at the Frances Young Tang Teaching Museum in Saratoga Springs, NY and Engine in Biddeford, ME. Emily is originally from Hartford, CT and is an avid tap dancer. She choreographed and served as president of Stompin’ Soles, Skidmore College’s only tap performance group. She loves to be creative with her students and share positive energy in the studio that radiates confidence outside the studio.
