Gianna Cusato- AMDA Dance Instructor

Gianna Cusato is a professional dancer and choreographer born and raised in Albany New York. In addition to training competitively for over 10 years, she immersed herself in dance by studying at the New York Summer School of the Arts, Skidmore College, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, and Broadway Dance Center. Now, a SUNY Purchase graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance performance and a 5-year member of MSA Talent Agency, Gianna continues to work for the commercial and concert dance world. She has taught and choreographed for dance studios and ongoing projects, and trained at Korea National University of the Arts her Fall semester of 2019. She has worked closely with artists such as Robert Battle and Lil Uzi Vert as well as produced some of her own works that have previously been invited to showcase at dance festivals across the US. When it comes to teaching her students, she emphasizes the fact that the studio should be a safe space for students to try new things without fear of judgement. She hopes to create a healthy balance in the studio of hard work and determination so students can exceed their OWN expectations and be proud of themselves when they leave the studio
