Katelyn Black - AMDA Dance Company Tap Instructor

Katelyn grew up dancing on the competition teams of both Isabelle's School of Dance and Eleanor's School of Dance. At Eleanor’s she took from Anthony Morigerato, choreographer on "So You Think You Can Dance" and creator of "Operation Tap". She received her BA degree from Siena College, where she was a member of the Siena College Dance Team. Katelyn has been teaching tap at AMDA for 10 years. She teaches and choreographs for AMDA’s Dance Company. Outside of the studio she works at her family owned business, Shaker Flats Landscaping, Inc., where she is Human Resources Manager.
