Jennifer Jones - AMDA Dance Company Tap Instructor

Jennifer is excited to join the teaching staff at AMDA! Jennifer began her dancing journey at Tynans School of Performing Arts at age three and has been passionate about dance ever since. Jennifer has studied Tap, Jazz, Ballet and Hip Hop. She became a teaching assistant at the age of 10 and was instructing her own classes at 16. Jennifer competed throughout her entire childhood achieving highest scoring solo awards at regional and national competitions. She frequented Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway, particularly enjoying classes with tap artists Michael Minery and Barbara Duffy. Jennifer continued to teach and dance locally while obtaining her Bachelors Degree in Communication from the University at Albany. She performed in The Silver Lining with artistic director, Tina Baird and former Radio City Rockette, Chrystie Kenny Greco. Jennifer has taught Tap, Hip Hop and Jazz at several capital region studios and is excited to share her passion with the dancers at AMDA. She is also thrilled to be reuniting with fellow dancers and friends, Andrea and Ashley!
